PICADILLY FARM will deliver boxed CSA shares of our lovely, sustainably-grown produce to several locations in will deliver to locations in Belmont, Arlington, and Bedford. Our farm is located in southwestern New Hampshire, not quite two hours from Belmont. Bruce and Jenny have been growing produce on community farms in Massachusetts, Vermont and New Hampshire for over a decade, and we're looking forward to growing for friends in eastern Massachusetts
Eastern Massachusetts Shares
The Summer Season share runs from June 11th to October 11th. Pick-ups will be on Wednesdays afternoons & evenings. The shares come pre-boxed, and include 7-9 items each week. We send a weekly newsletter by email, with recipes, farm notes and storage tips. The 2008 share cost is $450, including delivery to central locations Belmont, Arlington and Bedford.
Our shares include the best of what the New England growing season has to offer, beginning with lovely greens, lettuces and strawberries; through young summer carrots, and just enough zucchini and plenty of melons; rounding out with sweet fall roots, broccoli, spinach and winter squash. Check out the tab labeled "What's in a share?" for a more complete crop listing. We grow a wide variety of produce, and a few fruits (strawberries, watermelons and cantaloupe). In our boxed shares, we focus on including the basics (things like carrots, lettuce and salad fixings, tomatoes and spinach), while also including a smattering of less common choices (like fennel, Napa cabbage, celeriac and bok choy). Our on-farm Pick-Your-Own Garden includes items such as strawberries, sugar snap peas, green beans, cherry tomatoes, and herbs. We do include a small number of each of these items in the delivered shares. We also welcome all of our shareholders to come out and enjoy harvesting in the Pick-Your-Own Garden when possible. Each season, we have several Shareholder Harvest Days and Potlucks, often on Saturdays, which can make for a good reason to come to the farm. We'll keep eastern Massachusetts shareholders informed about PYO crops and farm events through our weekly email newsletter.

The Arlington Northwest pick up site is on Philemon Street.
The Arlington East pick-up site is on Belknap Street.
The Bedford pick-up site is in West Bedford.
The BELMONT pick-up site is on Pine Street.
TO SIGN UP FOR A SUMMER SHARE
To sign up for a share, print out the eastern Massachusetts sign-up form, and return it to Picadilly Farm with a check. We ask that shareholders who are able to do so pay the entire share price when signing up for the season. An installment plan is also available, with a $225 deposit when you sign up, and the remainder due the first distribution week. Shares are sold first come, first served.
We will provide information about sites as soon as they are confirmed. If you'd like to know specifics about the sites before you sign up for a share, please call or send us an email. We'll contact you as each site is added.
WINTER SHARES
Picadilly Farm partners with several eastern Massachusetts farms to offer a Multi-Farm Winter Community Supported Agriculture share. Deliveries are once a month on Saturdays, in October, November and December. Winter Share distributions are at the Belmont Farm.
