We offer our Community Supported Agriculture shares at the farm in a "Mix and Match" format. Each week, shareholders who come to the farm choose 8 or 9 items from the choices of all of the crops we've harvested. Some items can be limited, while others are abundant, depending on the week and the weather. We write a weekly farm newsletter during the harvest season, and occasional off-season newsletters
We grow a wide range of vegetable crops, from lettuces to cooking greens, to herbs and tomatoes, to root crops and squashes. We also grow a few fruits (watermelon, cantaloupe and strawberries). In addition to the share we harvest for you, all shareholders have access to our Pick-Your-Own Garden, featuring green beans, sugar snap peas, a few culinary herbs, cut flowers, cherry and paste tomatoes, and strawberries. See our crop listing here.

We offer two different share options on the farm:
Full season: 2010 cost is $450-$550. Please pay $500 or higher, unless you are low income. The sliding scale is available until March 31, 2010 – after this date, the share price is set at $525.
Summer Shares run 12 weeks, from the end of June (the week of June 26) through the middle of September (the week of September 11). Please note that we’ve shifted the Summer Share season earlier by 2 weeks, due to shareholder interest! The 2010 cost is $275-$325, sliding scale. Please pay $300 or higher, unless you are low income. The sliding scale is available until March 31, 2010 – after this date, the share price is set at $310.
SHARE PICK-UP DAYS are SATURDAYS from 9am-noon, MONDAYS from 2-7:30pm, and TUESDAYS from 11am-4pm. Shareholders may pick up the share during any of these times. The Pick-Your-Own Garden is also open during these times.
SHARING A SHARE among two households is fine with us. Please split the share by either coming together or alternating pick up weeks. Please do not come to the farm and take a partial share, as this leads to some confusion during the share distribution.
TO SIGN UP FOR A SHARE
To sign up for a share, return the sign-up form, to Picadilly Farm with a check. Because we incur many of our costs of production in the spring, we ask that shareholders who are able to do so pay the entire share price when signing up for the season. Two payment plans are also available, so please indicate your choice on the sign-up form. For option one, send a $75 share deposit, with the remainder due in half payments on April 15 and June 1. For option two, send a $50 deposit, with the remainder due in monthly installments, to be paid in full by July. We are open to other alternative payment plans, with a strong preference on our end that the share be paid in full by July.
