Bruce and His Tractor Each week, shareholders who come to the farm choose 8 or 9 items from the 10 to 20 crops we've harvested. Some items are limited, while others are abundant, depending on the week and the weather. In addition to the share we harvest for you, all shareholders have access to our Pick-Your-Own Garden, featuring green beans, sugar snap peas, a few culinary herbs, cut flowers, cherry and paste tomatoes, and strawberries). We offer two different share options on the farm:

FULL SEASON SHARES runs 25 weeks, June through Thanksgiving. The 2008 price is $425 - $525.

SUMMER SHARES 12 weeks, from mid July to the end of September. The 2008 cost is $250 - $300.

We offer a sliding scale for shares that are picked up on the farm, recognizing that not everyone in our community may be able to afford to purchase a share. Because our costs of production amount to the value that's midway along our sliding scale, we count on some to pay more so that others may pay less. Please pay the full amount if you are able. Otherwise, we wholeheartedly welcome you to pay what you can afford within the sliding scale.

Because we incur many of our costs of production in the spring, we ask that members who are able to do so pay the entire share price when signing up for the season. An installment plan is also available, with a 50% deposit when you sign up, and the remainder due at the first share distribution.

SHARE PICK-UP DAYS are SATURDAYS from 9am-noon, MONDAYS from 2-7pm, and TUESDAYS from 11am-4pm. Shareholders may pick up the share during any of these times. The Pick-Your-Own Garden is also open during these times.
